Welcome to Project Gerar’s Dig Site

This is where the real work happens.

Project Gerar is about reopening wells, clearing away centuries of accumulated debris to recover the living water of truth. This blog is where we document the process. Think of these posts as field reports from an active excavation: what we’ve uncovered, how we found it, and what tools we used to get there.

You’ll find Hebrew word studies that reveal what got buried in translation. Examinations of Scripture through its original Jewish lens, showing what first-century eyes would have seen that we’ve been trained to miss. Corrections to popular teaching that’s built on faulty foundations. Translation issues that shaped (or misshaped) how we read our Bibles. And core concepts that help the whole story come together.

But here’s what this isn’t: a weekly theological meal service.

When Jesus was twelve in the Temple, the teachers weren’t amazed by His answers, they were amazed by His questions. His questions revealed His understanding. That’s the model. Real transformation happens when you learn to ask the right questions, when you develop the skill to read Scripture in its own world, when you can trace the patterns for yourself.

These posts will give you findings. But the real value is seeing how we got there. The method is what matters. The process of digging, questioning, comparing Scripture with Scripture, reading through Hebrew eyes; that’s what we’re offering.

So welcome to the dig site. The ground is hard. The work is honest. And the water, when you finally reach it, is worth every shovelful.

Ready to dig?

Project Gerar

We believe much of the Hebraic roots and Jewish context that shaped the early Christian faith has been buried under layers of tradition and misinterpretation. We explore the original meaning of Biblical Hebrew words, study Torah as God’s instruction (not law), understand how Sabbath, biblical feasts (moedim), and covenant formed first-century believers. Seeking to remove centuries of accumulation to learn to walk ‘the way’ of the first disciples; following Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, empowered by the Spirit.

We’re not adding Jewish flavour to Christianity. This is a work of restoration; a return to the ancient paths. The water is still flowing.

Let’s dig together to uncover those wells.
